Schools hear resounding 'yes' from voters.

The Feb. 14, 2012 special election had some clear winners and no losers. With percentages ranging from 56 percent to 70 percent, levies around the county and one bond gave education funding a strong show of confidence. Here are the results as of 12:40 p.m. Wednesday.


Evergreen School District

Voters passed a new four-year levy that will start Jan. 1, 2013.

Rate per $1,000 of assessed value: $4.19 to $4.54


Ridgefield School District

Voters passed $46.7 million in general obligation bonds to fund new classrooms, athletic facilities, safety measures, and other school improvements.

Hockinson School District

Voters passed a four-year, $3.3 million levy to finance school programs and operations, and a second $511,000 levy to buy and install educational technology, provide security and fund facility improvements.

Voters passed a two-year levy worth $3.2 million in 2013 and $3.4 million in 2014.
