The proposed Columbia River Crossing includes an $850 Million, 2.9 mile light rail route that would go from the Portland Expo Center through downtown Vancouver, Washington. We talked with some of the small business owners in Vancouver, many of whom take issue with the cost, tax increases, possibility of tolls, the affect on roads and parking, the presumed crime that would accompany the light rail, and how all those combined can harm their businesses.

This reportumentary is the first in the “Our Stories” series of videos that highlight small businesses that are being threatened by transportation, urban renewal, and other projects that fall under the banner of “sustainability”.
