On Monday we introduced our Originals and announced our first subject: Kiggins Theatre.
While filming this piece we had the privilege of getting an exclusive tour of the entire building from Seanette Corkill who runs the theater’s Facebook page and is a board member of the nonprofit group, Friends of Kiggins.
She showed us everything from the archaic ventilation system in the basement, which secretly housed dozens of decommissioned theater chairs, to overtime rate sheets from the 1950s in the projection room.

Great work guys. You’ve really captured a part of the theatre’s essence from what I’ve seen so far. The Kiggins had became somewhat of a time capsule. While we’re moving forward with a few changes it’s nice to appreciate and document what was.
