Where do you go when your dog needs to get out of the house and off it’s leash?  In Vancouver, there are 5 places that provide a safe environment to socialize and play with other dogs. However, your dog needs to know some basic doggie etiquette before entering the gated playground. Dogpaw, a volunteer non-profit entity partners with Vancouver Parks and BPA to keep these off-leash parks well maintained.  They receive no city, county or federal funding and rely totally on donations from its members, donors and local businesses.

To get acquainted with the off-lease dog parks in Vancouver, Cindy Franke ,president of DOGPAW, took time to explain how this organization got started and the benefits that off-leash dog parks have to offer.
