This looks to be an excellent opportunity for the community that is not hi-jacked or in the “in crowd”. I wonder though about maybe set up a purpose statement, what we feel is important and how do we go about making that happen.

It’s great for everyone to have an opinion but even more useful if it can be challenged into making a real change. Thanks David for all you do.

As a community we need as much reliable information as we can absorb. No one person is going to pull us through this downturn, but as a community pulling together, we will make it through. A ‘bridge’ as this one is most welcome.

Artimus, thanks!! I had a good laugh with Lars racking the Mayor over the coals, but again
it doesn’t surprise me how they think the voters are to ingornant to understand. This has been going on for over 25 years and they will get around the vote, mark my words!! This is another ‘ Clark County Done Deal!’

shot down! thanks! to don.benton@leg.wa.gov and pam.roach@leg.wa.gov
help..maybe! with there help. we could put some legs under
SB 5416 -toll revenue bill and slow or stop this. the voice of the people here
should decide on this! period..

Btw, aside from the I-5 bridge project, you might be interested to know that the Democrats in the Wash. State Senate voted down a bill to restrict illegals from having driver’s licenses.

Washington is one of only two states that now allow illegals to have licenses.

Having Lou jump onto John Laird’s column tonite was kind of weird. Maybe John blew a fuse or something.

I hear what you’re saying karma, but I’m not intimidated by The Columbian’s editorial writers. There are just too many simple, factual reasons that The Columbian can’t “get around” that show this bridge project to be a total boondoggle.
