Uupdate: Tickets for next show here: https://www.cytvanport.org/getTickets.aspx Naylene Frunk of USD Media caught up with the Christian Youth Theater at a recent dress rehearsal of "The Secret Garden" at Fort Vancouver High School. Kids were camped out in the CYT green room, a classroom that is used as a camp for CYT cast members during rehearsals. Frunk chatted with performers, backstage staff and parents about the upcoming performances and what brought them into theater. CYT will be performing "The Secret Garden" at Fort Vancouver High School at 7 p.m. May 20, 21 and 27; 2 p.m. on May 22 and 3 p.m. on May 28. In addition, the program has two school performances slated for May 24, one at 9:30 a.m. and one at 11:45 a.m. The group is partnering with The Giving Closet to hold a sock and underwear drive. Donations of new socks and underwear for teens can be made at a booth during the show. Donors will receive a $1 voucher for refreshments. CYT funding comes through ticket and refreshment sales.
